Teaching methods
In addition to traditional lectures, institutional bodies and industry professionals are involved. The course also experiments with several interactive teaching methodologies, detailed as follows:
I. Peer-to-Peer Teaching: A portion of the classroom teaching activity will be managed autonomously by a team of students, under the supervision of the instructor. The objective is to experiment with a "peer-to-peer" teaching and learning method.
II. Learning by Practice: Work groups, coordinated by the instructor, are invited to simulate a consulting activity, the results of which will be discussed at the end of the lessons.
Supplementary material is conveyed through the dedicated online teaching support platform.
Assessment methods
Learning will be assessed through a written or oral exam (at the student's discretion). The exam will cover topics discussed in the course and outlined in the "Program and Contents" section, as well as the laboratory activities associated with the course.
For the written exam, students will be given multiple-choice tests and practical case studies/open-ended questions. The exam will be graded considering the following: knowledge of the topics, ability to analyze jurisprudential and doctrinal orientations, ability to make connections between different parts of the program, ability to develop critical arguments, and the articulation and accuracy of the presentation.
For illustrative purposes only, the final grade will be based on the following criteria:
-
18-21: Sufficient or barely sufficient preparation on the topics, limited critical ability, difficulty using technical-legal language.
-
22-25: Fair or rather good preparation on the topics, fair critical ability, good use of technical-legal language.
-
26-29: Good or very good preparation on the topics, good critical ability, mastery of technical-legal language.
-
30-30L: Substantially exhaustive preparation on the topics, excellent critical ability, full mastery of technical-legal language.
Classes will be held in the first semester, and students can take the exam starting from the winter session.
For off-course students, a written exam is scheduled for the December 2025 session, notwithstanding the ordinary oral exam format available in all sessions published on Almaesami.
To take the exam, registration on the dedicated list via Almaesami is required.
ThesisThe assignment of a thesis will take place after an interview with the instructor. Presentation meetings will be organized monthly, both in person and on Teams, for which pre-registration is not required.
