Learning outcomes
The student at the end of the course develops in-depth knowledge about the main methods of analysis of interpersonal communication (two-people and group) and acquire analytical and practical skills to develop their individual psychological resources and the psychological and relational resources needed to participate actively and facilitate group activity
Course contents
The programme is the same for students attending and non-attending
The first part of the course will cover the following topics:
• Interpersonal conflict: definition and phenomenology
• Conflict analysis in work and professional contexts
• The perspective of non-violent conflict management
• Mediation and negotiation
In the second part of the course, some negotiation and mediation techniques will be developed through group activities

Assessment methods
The examination involves an oral interview focused on the contents proposed by the compulsory texts and those chosen by the student.
The main structure of Nonviolent Communication and its application to the world of work will be discussed.
It will address the issues of causes and consequences of interpersonal conflicts; difficulties with colleagues and users; harassment in the work environment and unsolvable conflict.
The oral interview can be supported in dedicated calls
