Learning outcomes

Perform basic wound assessment and care. Perform simple surgical manouvres.

Course contents

Principles of asepsis and antisepsis.

Basic surgical instruments: identification and correct handling.

Suturing techniques and surgical knots.

Basic wound management and dressing.

Introduction to vascular access techniques.

First-level emergency procedures (e.g., bleeding control).

Team dynamics in the operating room: roles and responsibilities.
