Learning outcomes
The TeCo (Skills Test), stimulated and coordinated by ANVUR, involves all Italian universities of all degree courses. The objective of this project is the longitudinal analysis of the levels of skills acquired by university students, in order to monitor the quality of the training process, and provide each student with a self-evaluation tool for their training path. The results allow the CDS to evaluate, modify and update the teaching methodology.
Course contents
The Skills Test (TeCo) is an innovative tool aimed at the progressive evaluation of the student through the detection of transversal skills (which draw on a generalist educational background) and disciplinary skills (proper to the core contents of the T.S.R.M.) acquired by students during and at the end of their university studies.
The TRANSVERSAL test consists of multiple choice questions divided into five macro areas: LITERACY, NUMERACY, PROBLEM SOLVING, CIVICS, ENGLISH.
The DISCIPLINARY test consists of multiple choice questions, for a total of 100, divided into 9 macro areas ranging between:
- basic disciplines aimed at offering the cognitive elements necessary to understand the most relevant mechanisms underlying the TSRM profile (PHYSICS of RADIATION and RADIATION PROTECTION, INFORMATION SYSTEMS, CONTRAST MEANS);
- characterizing disciplines that guarantee the knowledge necessary to carry out technical, diagnostic and assistance activities relating to radiological investigations and services (CONVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY, BREAST, COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHY, MAGNETIC RESONANCE, RADIOTHERAPY, NUCLEAR MEDICINE, INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY).
Teaching methods
Blended Learning.
Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
Assessment methods
The TeCo is administered to all students at the same time and at regular intervals at the beginning of the academic year (T0) in order to evaluate the acquisition and retention of knowledge in relation to the objectives of the training curriculum.
For each student and for each cohort of students, learning curves are traced which allow everyone to verify how they are positioned in relation to their own group; the test is totally anonymous. At the end of the academic year, the student will receive the certificate of participation with the relevant results on the reference portal.
TeCo was assigned the weight of 1 CFU over the three-year period.
Teaching tools
The test will be delivered through an online platform made available by CINECA.
