Assessment methods

The final test consists of an oral exam in which the student will primarily discuss a topic from the syllabus. During the interview, questions will also be asked to assess the depth of understanding of the proposed topic and other topics covered in the syllabus, the critical ability to connect different pieces of knowledge, and the achievement of an integrated understanding of the subjects addressed in class. The exam will be considered passed if the student has demonstrated sufficient knowledge in each topic. The achievement by the student of a comprehensive view of the topics covered in class, combined with their critical application, the ability to make connections, and the demonstration of mastery of expression and specific terminology, will be evaluated with excellent grades. The criterion for incorporating the grade into the overall final evaluation of the CI involves the weighted mathematical average based on the credits.

Final grade scale: Preparation on a very limited number of topics covered in the course and analytical skills that emerge only with the teacher's help, overall correct use of language → 18-19; Preparation on a limited number of topics covered in the course and autonomous analytical skills only on purely procedural issues, correct use of language → 20-24; Preparation on a wide range of topics covered in the course, ability to make autonomous critical analysis choices, mastery of specific terminology → 25-29; Substantially comprehensive preparation on the topics covered in the course, ability to make autonomous critical analysis and connection choices, full mastery of specific terminology, and ability to argue and self-reflect → 30-30L.
