Learning outcomes
At the end of the internship the student gets knowledge and ability that mekes him able to apply the process of physiotherapy; using clinical reasoning he can realize a physical therapy treatment according to international guidelines and the best practice. He does his interventions to answer properly to the sanitary needs of each person and of the population. He's able to assess the efficacy of its treatment, identifying critical issues and applying solutions. He respects cultural differences, rights and values of each persons. He's able to use a propositive communication, to control and manage emotions, to be creative and to lead his thoughtful thinking always searching health both for the individual and for society.
Course contents
Internship 4 is carried out in specialized settings in all areas of physiotherapeutic interest, based on the declaration of preference: orthopedics, neurology, community and home care, amputation outcomes, neonatology, spinal cord injury outcomes, critical care, cardiothoracic-vascular and/or abdominal surgery outcomes, transplantology.

Teaching methods
The internship is preceded by a briefing, which discusses the general and specific objectives outlined in each individual Internship Agreement, which varies for each clinical setting.
The internship includes a period of mentoring with a tutor/internship guide who provides individual guidance to the student.
At the end of the internship, debriefing sessions are scheduled to share experiences and insights.
Assessment methods
Assessment made by the tutors through a contract which contains every single didactic objective.
Achievement of the specific objectives set out in each training contract during the clinical internship, of the deliverables produced, and suitability for the core values.
Teaching tools
Training contract, Internship Regulations, simulations, team meetings, internship briefings and debriefings.
In consideration of the types of activities and teaching methods adopted, the attendance of this training activity requires all students to carry out modules 1 and 2 in e-learning mode and participation in the third module of specific training on safety and health in the places of study / internship.
