Teaching methods
Theoretical lessons accompanied by practical exercises on the PC.
Exam simulations will also be tested.
Assessment methods
The exam at the end of the course expected the achievement of the educational objectives of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills and the test expected a mark out of thirty.
During the 1st lesson, the teacher will administer a survey using the Wooclap app to assess the student's level of knowledge of the subject matter. During the midterm period, a midterm assessment will be administered using the Wooclap app to assess the student's understanding of the material taught so far and to address any questions that may have arisen.
The grade is graduated from 18/30 to 30/30. The minimum grade is achieved by a basic knowledge of the teaching; it is between 19 and 25 for a fair knowledge; between 26 and 29 for a good knowledge while 30 represents a very good knowledge and honors are added in case of excellent knowledge.
The practical exam consists of a two-hour computer-based exam, based on a question formulated by the instructor, and a search for an article using the main databases learned during the theoretical and practical lessons. This is followed by an oral exam on the selected article, drawing on the theoretical lessons on research methodology.
Given the types of activities and teaching methods adopted, attendance at this training activity requires all students to complete modules 1 and 2 in e-learning mode and participate in the classroom (8 hours) in the third specific training module on health and safety in study/internship settings.
Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https:/site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
