Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student understands the pathophysiological changes that characterize pregnancy. They are aware that specific hygiene and dietary guidelines form the basis for the prevention of high-risk conditions for the fetus and are able to develop appropriately tailored preventive plans.

    Assessment methods

    The final exam aims to assess the achievement of the course objectives.
    The final evaluation consists of an oral examination intended to verify the student’s ability to apply their acquired knowledge and to make the necessary logical-deductive connections.

    • Preparation on a very limited number of topics covered in the course and analytical ability that emerges only with the teacher’s guidance; overall correct use of language → 18–19;

    • Preparation on a limited number of topics covered in the course and autonomous analytical ability only on purely operational issues; correct use of language → 20–24;

    • Preparation on a broad range of topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices in critical analysis, good command of specific terminology → 25–29;

    • Comprehensive preparation on the topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices in critical analysis and to draw connections, full command of specific terminology, and ability to argue and self-reflect → 30–30 with honors.
