Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will have knowledge on the influence of climate change and globalization on vector-borne infections. The students will have knowledge on the Neglected Tropical Diseases according to the WHO classification and will be able to describe the importance of parasitic infections in a globalized world.

Frontal lectures, seminars from experts, in-class activities

Assessment methods

Students are required to attend at least 60% of classes.

The students are requested to participate to in-class activities and to prepare a written report on a topic assigned in the course.
