Spanish Tutoring and Monographic Course
Spanish Tutoring: It is essential to change the language in your study plan in a timely manner in order to participate.
Monographic Course:
Migration, Border, and Identity: Latinos in the United States Embark on a fascinating and complex journey to discover the reality of Latinos in the United States. This monographic course, starting in the second semester of 2025 (check Prof. Betti's announcements), will lead us to reflect on the challenges, opportunities, and contradictions faced by a community seeking its identity between two worlds. We will explore crucial topics such as migration, borders, integration, cultural clashes, and the persistence of prejudices (Hispanophobia). Through the analysis of texts, films, documentaries, and firsthand accounts, we will delve into the social, political, and linguistic dynamics that characterize the Latino experience in the United States. The course, structured with preliminary tutoring sessions (1st and 2nd semester) and 30 hours with the professor, will allow you to acquire basic language and cultural skills.

Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
