Learning outcomes

he student acquires knowledge relating to the use of segments of the digestive system in the reconstruction of the urinary tract after cystectomy.

Course contents

The module aims to provide students with the definition and treatment of the main diseases of the gastrointestinal system and endocrine organs of surgical interest. At the end of the course the student has the skills and knowledge necessary for the identification of the main diseases mentioned through the use of the correct diagnostic pathway and the appropriate indication for surgical treatment.

- Diseases of surgical interest of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands
- Inflammatory and neoplastic pathologies of the pancreas
- Inflammatory and neoplastic neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract
- Principles of surgical techniques of the digestive system
