Assessment methods

The final I.C. exam will verify the achievement of objectives (critical thinking, knowledge of topics) within the integrated course of Neurological, Psychiatric Diseases, and anesthesiology and pain management (I.C.).

The assessment of 'anesthesiology and pain management' topics will focus on topics covered during the lectures.

Individual assessment will be through a 20-item quiz; each item will have four possible answers, of which only one is correct. Successful assessment includes marks from 18/30 to 30/30.

The I.C. will is divided into two modules.

Module A (Neuroradiology, In vivo Neurometabolic Diagnostics, Neuropsychopharmacology, Neuropathology, Anaesthesiology, and Pain Management; total 5 CFU):

Module B (Neurology, Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Neurosurgery; total 10 CFU):

FINAL GRADES:

To pass the exam, you must reach at least the pass mark (18/30) in all modules of the I.C.; the final grade will be the marks' weighted average. Cum laude will be considered when obtained in at least one of the modules with a total score (30/30) in the others. Registration of the examination grades will occur during the Thursday session. The student will be able to accept or decline the final grades. If a student did not pass any modules, he/she could sustain only the exam of the failed modules (maintaining the grades obtained in the others) again, as long as this occurred within the same academic year.
