Learning outcomes

At the end of the activities the student has knowledge that integrates and completes the contents of the courses on care/educational/ organizational aspects of specific and/or particular interest.

Course contents

We aim to deepen contents of particular interest and relevance for clinical practice and related to the theoretical contents foreseen for the course year.

With regard to the SEMINARS, the topics covered are:

Pathological addictions
New poverty and prison
Risk management and safety in care
Organisation of the territorial emergency system
Hospice and palliative care
Forensic nursing
DAT
Assistance to transgender people
Preventing aggression in treatment settings
Women victims of violence. Role of the nurse and reception network

Seminars are compulsory attendance.

Material distributed as part of seminars by experts.

Teaching methods

"Frontal" meetings in the classroom with experts

The activities were carried out using the following methods:


- Frontal lesson

- Watching videos

- Expert-led discussion of case or case examples

Assessment methods

The contents of the seminars will be evaluated in terms of suitability as required by the Regulations of the Course of Study and are part of the preparation of the student.

On the contents of the seminars the student will have to answer specific multiple choice questions included in the Professional Laboratory 3 fitness test.
