Assessment methods

Students enrolled in Semiotic

Attending students will make a power point presentation of a paper on medical interaction. The paper will be chosen among the list of papers proposed by the teacher. The presentation will be evaluated according to the students' capacity of organizing it also addressing the main themes of the course and the main problematic of medical interaction. The student's oral expression capacity will be evaluated as well.

Non-attending students: oral examination based on the text Talk in Action and L'analisi della conversazione. The students must contact the professor in order to agree on supplementary texts.

 

Students enrolled in Education

Attending students:

regarding the 30 hours of professor Galatolo teaching module, students will make a power point presentation of a paper on medical interaction. The paper will be chosen among the list of papers proposed by the teacher. The presentation will be evaluated according to the students' capacity of organizing it, also structuring it according to the main themes of the course and to the main problematic of medical interaction. The student's oral expression capacity will be evaluated as well;

regarding the 18 hours of prof. Saglietti teaching module, students will make a power point presentation of a paper on school or family interaction. 

Both presentations will be evaluated according to the student's capacity of organizing it also addressing the main themes of the course and the main problematic of medical interaction. The student's oral expression capacity will be evaluated as well. The final score will be the result of the average of the two votes obtained.

Non-attending students: the examination will be an oral discussion of the texts assigned for both Prof. Galatolo and Prof. Saglietti teaching module.
