Learning outcomes
With this lab, the student will acquire knowledge regarding the cutting-edge technologies and platforms required for the development of virtual and augmented reality environments. The student will be able to modify and customize virtual scenarios with free softwares and sdk, to realize applications for fashion and design.
Course contents
The laboratory activity will focus on the design and creation of immersive environments, based on virtual and / or augmented reality, in the context of ecommerce and fashion exhibitions.

Teaching methods
Lectures in the lab, brainstorming, project presentations delivered by students.
Assessment methods
Students will be asked to design an own project (individual or groups) from idea, via implementation, testing, evaluation, demonstration, to documentation. No coding skills will be required to complete the project.
Teaching tools
Students will be able to utilize the AR/VR infrastructure available at the VARLAB (https://site.unibo.it/varlab/en), comprising AR/VR HMDs (HTC Vive and Microsoft Hololens), 3D PowerWall, 3D scanner, haptic interfaces, 360 camera and high performance workstations.
In case of lab shutdown for COVID, the students will be guided through the design and implementation of their projects resorting to free software available online.
