Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student* has the knowledge to provide personalized assistance to people with DNA

Course contents

The elective course will deal with Nutrition and Eating Disorders (DNA), especially in developmental age. The following will be considered: the definition, the classifications used over time, the epidemiology, the etiopathogenesis, the clinic, the comorbidity, the semiological characteristics, the transition between services and from developmental age to adulthood, the organization of services, medical, psychological and nutritional care, conventional psychological rehabilitation treatment, pharmacological treatment, and alternative/integrative complementary medicine.

Assessment methods

The written test consists of 10 multiple-choice questions. The test will be passed if the student answers at least 6 questions correctly. 

Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
