  • Internet, the World Wide Web, and their services

  • Web page creation

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)

  • Multimedia presentations

Readings/Bibliography

No textbook purchase is required. Lecture materials will be available online on the University's Virtuale Platform. Further information will be provided during the first class.

Teaching methods

The course is delivered through synchronous classes, held primarily online. A tutor will be available to introduce the course topics and guide students through the learning process. The topics are organized into the aforementioned modules and will require further individual study. The class schedule will be announced later on the course webpage.

Assessment methods

The final exam consists of a 30-question multiple-choice test to be taken in the computer lab in the presence of the tutor. The questions will cover topics related to the course modules. Each correct answer is worth 1 point, while incorrect or unanswered questions receive 0 points. The exam is considered passed if the student answers at least 18 questions correctly. The exam is graded on a pass/fail basis only; no numerical grades are given.

Students may take the exam without attending the lectures.
To sit the exam, registration through AlmaEsami for the chosen session is required. If the exam is passed, the result will be recorded in AlmaEsami in the days following the exam date. No student signature is required for the recording of the result, which is handled entirely by the instructor. There is no restriction on retaking the exam in the next available session if it is not passed.

Teaching tools

The materials related to the course modules are accessible through the Virtuale Platform, following a registration procedure that will be explained during the first class.
