Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student has the knowledge to understand people's ability to access, understand and use information aimed at promoting and maintaining health, knows the HL assessment tools and targeted interventions.

• The three levels of HL and the key competences of health-literate people
• Health literacy in the world and in Italy (PIAAC Study 2015)
• HL's assessment tools
• Interventions and strategies to promote HL
• The application of HL strategies to health problems
