Learning outcomes
The knowledge to evaluate the interactions between different environmental compartments that act for the formation and evolution of soils, to evaluate the degree of sensitivity and vulnerability of soils and waters as a function of environmental conditions and/or anthropic interventions on the territory. Introduction and updating of the mapping of soils and ecosystem services. Understand the mechanisms that regulate the activity of soil surfaces and the functionality of agro-ecosystems.
Course contents
The soil and its development;
Reading the morphological characteristics of the horizons, knowledge of the soil profile and pedogenetic processes
The soil within environmental balances;
The threats of land degradation;
Soil ecosystem services
Land reading tools, both soil and derivative cartographies

Assessment methods
Without prejudice to the verification of the minimum percentage of attendance and the delivery of the exercises required during the course, the evaluation of the learning of the teaching contents takes place at the same time as the final test for the acquisition of the qualification to teach in the competition class of the training course, provided for by Art. 9 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2023.
