Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student knows different kinds of instrumentation for the measurement, diagnostic and characterization of components and systems employed in electrical engineering. Their operating principle, architecture, accessories (sensors, probes, …) and criteria for their proper choice according to the application are dealt with in depth. Guide to their correct use and to the evaluation of the uncertainty affecting the measurement performed with such instrumentation are also provided.
