Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will know the essential of the Middle Age; he is able to contextualize and to study with criticism trends or events with the capability to explain differences occurring during the time; he is able to recognize the different historical sources.
Course contents
Initial 40 hour lessons starting October 05th 2016 about some topics on Middle Age history with short exercises on related sources.
Following 20 hour focused on the monographic theme; The medieval heretics (XI-XIV), their system of values, cultural and religious. Reactions of society.

Assessment methods
Final oral test with 3 questions concerning the most important topics: 2 on the general section and the last on the specific topic. 20/30 minute test during which the professor is going to understand the knowledge of the student on the medieval history and his capabilities to face the main topics.
