Course contents

The contribution that the course of Teorie e Tecniche della Progettazione Architettonica (Theories and Techniques of the Architectural Planning) aim to give to the Laboratorio di Sintesi Finale e Tesi titled I luoghi del tempo libero (Final and Thesis Laboratory: Free Time Places), is inherent to the link between some architecture's theories and the relations of these with the techniques of the architectonic composition (design). Prominence will be given to the extensions that these terms - theory and technique of the architectonic composition - entertain with the definition and the acknowledgment of the character of architecture and leisure places. In particular of the landscape concept, the analogy issue and transformation of the existing places. Therefore the connection between: the design topics, the concepts of landscape and analogy, will be assumed as necessary in order to face and to propose a thought on the value of architecture's construction and urban space. Places and landscapes of life in which the human been might feel like “thrown” or forced to cohabit between the dimension of necessity and the aspiration to leisure.
