Course contents
The course consists of the following teaching modules:
- Some definitions: didactics as the sum of teaching methodologies;didactics as the art and science of teaching.
- Conceptual categories of general didactics in the field of teaching/learning: the person who educates, the person who is educated, contents, language and contexts.
- General didactics as a place/ a means of language, relationships, tools, materials. Verbal mediation, written mediation, iconic mediation.
- The principal theoretical and methodological approaches to team work
- Team work as didactic methodology in an educational context
- Cooperative learning
- Leadership
The course is conducted in modality blended learning (40 hours in classroom, 20 on-line). Materials for the part of the course that will take place on-line will be available on the website of the faculty.

Teaching methods
Lectures, discussions, individual or group commentaries on parts of the texts or topics related to teaching practice (only for course-attenders).
Assessment methods
Written exam with multiple choice questions and short essays.
Test exercises provided in the blended learningare also part of the exame; all materials are available in moodle at www.moodle.unibo.it. The exercises mustbe delivered at least 10 days before the date on which you plan to take the exam.
Teaching tools
Power point, slides, video analysis, papers provided by the teacher during the course.
