Learning outcomes

The student will get knowledge of the main issues which emerge in the planning, management, organization and implementation of the firm strategy.

Course contents

The program of the course is made up of 2 parts. Part I is devoted to the analysis of the economic nature of the firm, while Part II to the notion of strategy and of organization, with a special focus on innovation and science and technology management.

Standard lectures in classes and collective discussions

Assessment methods

Classes will take place in the second term, so that students will be able to take the exam starting from May.

The examination will consist of a written exam, passing which (with a minimum of 18 out of 30) students will have to take an oral exam. Students will have to register for both the written and oral exams through the Alma Esami web-page. The oral exam must be taken in the same session ("appello") of the correspondent written exam.

Having passed Economia Politica or any other basic course of economics is required in order to take the examination.
