Learning outcomes

At the end of Labs experience, each student should know: possible applications of Cognitive Neuroscience in diagnosis and rehabilitation of neuropsychological deficits; topics of research in Cognitive Neuroscience (neural basis of cognitive functions); methods of research in Cognitive Neuroscience (neuropsychological studies, TMS, psychophysics),

To this aim, students should follow completelly an experimental study, from designing an experiment, to collecting and analyze data, drawing conclusions and writing a short scientific report.

Course contents

The course is based on:

Two formal lessons to learn how: a) finding, selecting and "reading" the literature; b) organizing and analyzing data.

Several experimental sessions during which students will: a) set up the experiment; test subjects; collect data; analyze data; interpret data.
