Short Bio

Full professor, director of the Non-invasive brain stimulation research group, he serves the University of Bologna since 2006. His research interests focus on social, cognitive and affective neuroscience and the development of novel non-invasive brain stimulation protocols to investigate brain plasticity and neural bases of cognition in humans.

From september to december 2023, meetings will be available at the end of classes for Cognitive and social neuroscience (L-24 Bachelor degree in Psychological sciences and techniques) and Cognitive and affective neuroscience (LM-51 Master degree in Neuroscience and neuropsychological rehabilitation), both in Piazza Aldo Moro 90, Cesena. From March to April 2024, appointments will be available at the end of classes for Research methodology in neuroscience (LM-51 in Neurosciences and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation) in Piazza Aldo Moro 90, Cesena.

Outside of the regular class periods, meetings are available on Tuesday mornings from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Center for studies and research in Cognitive neurosciences, Viale Rasi e Spinelli 176, Cesena. We encourage you to make reservations via email. Appointments can also be arranged for other days and times, on Teams or in presence at the Center for studies and research in Cognitive neurosciences, by coordinating via emai: alessio.avenanti@unibo.it
