Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student: - will know the psychodynamic models of development; - will be able to detect risk and protection factors and signs of discomfort in education context; - will know the main psychodynamic assessment methods; - will know the techniques of psychodynamic counselling.

  1. Theoretical frame of reference

2.       Infancy

 

a) Diagnosis and Assessment: Classification Systems – Instruments of Infant development Observation and Evaluation – Parenthood: relational dynamics and risk factors

b) Psychopathology: Affect disorders – Feeding behaviour disorders – Sleep disorders – Attachment disorders – ADHD and conduct disorders – Psychosomatic disorders – Regulation disorders – Multisystem developmental disorders

 

3.       Adolescence

a) Diagnosis and Assessment: Classification Systems – Assessment and Research Instruments – Family dynamics in adolescence

b) Psychopathology: Anxiety disorders - Depression – Eating disorders – Gender identity disorders – Substance abuse – Personality disorders and borderline disorder
