Learning outcomes
This seminar aims at the acquisition of knowledge and competences which integrate those acquired in the fundamental courses included in the didactic plan.
Course contents
During the academic year will be proposed 2 different cycles seminars. Each cycle consisting in five/six meetings. The first cycle will take place during the first part of academic year and will have as the title "Organize the work: themes, problems and perspectives”. The second will instead in the second part (February to May 2011) and it will have to the following titles: “Precarious times: civilization and its discontents in the new capitalist discourse”.
To obtain the CFU necessary, the student will have to: (a) register, in his choice, to one of the cycles seminars within and not more than 15 November for the first cycle and within the 15 January 2011 (registration to be carried out, also via email, through communication to Monica Orsoni or to Patrizia Carandina, patrizia.carandina@unibo.it) monica.orsoni@unibo.it, and b) attending the programmed meetings in the cycle chosen (will be tolerated not more than an absence), c) to prepare, also on the basis of a deepening book on the topic, a written report (see the section verification).
The content and programming of the two seminars planned is specified in the italian presentation.
Readings/Bibliography
Texts will be indicated during the seminars.
Teaching methods
The seminars are organized about different monographics topics. Attending meetings and preparing a paper on the chosen topic is requested to obtain credit.
Assessment methods
Credits can be assigned only if the following conditions are all respected:
1. attending seminars (only one absence will be tolerated)
2. paper (to send in paper format max 15 day before the chosen examination data) about one of the texts indicated during the seminar.
Paper has to be about 2500 words, structured as follows:
in the Cover:
1. author and other information about her/him (degree attended, year of the Seminar)
inside the paper:
1. index
2. introduction (topics of the paper; structure of the paper)
3. paragraphs (each par. has a main theme)
4. conclusions
5. references (volumes and articles relevant for the addressed topics)
Whereas the Professor should verify plagiarism (from books, articles or web), the author will be excluded by the Seminar/examination.Teaching tools
