Learning outcomes

The Course aims to help the student to see and to analyse the main trends of the modern society in the field of the communication processes. So the student will be more able to better appreciate the social relevance of the communication for the social activities in the leisure time.

Course contents

The Course of Sociology of the Communicative Processes will teach the main concepts and the methodologies more able to analyse the actual socio-cultural changes, and the techniques more useful to get the relevance of the communication in the nowadays society.

 

In this Course you can distinguish three parts, the following ones:

a) in the general part the Course will present the main sociological theories, which seems to be useful to study the up-to-date changes which are leading to the “post”-modern society.

 

b) in the monographic part the Course will present the main findings of sociological studies and researches in the communication of the great sport event and activities.

 

c) the aim of the seminarial part of the Course is to promote the students' cognitive interests in the field of the sport communication, and to show studies and empirical researches in the sociology field, which be useful to satisfy them.

In this Course you can distinguish three parts, the following ones:

You'll get the examination –one test toghether General Sociology– if you'll study a tleast one book, choised between the following ones:

 

A) For the general partand for the monographic one of the Course(the common book:)

Teaching methods

Face-to-face lessons, and case studies introduced by the new technologies of communications.

Assessment methods

You can gain the 6 Ufc.s assigned to the Integrated Course in General and Communicative Sociology by a writed exam. It will consist of 30 questions about the 3 books of the minimum program, or of 40 or more questions about the 4 or more books of the enlarged program; you  choised these ones between the above listed books.

 Questions and answears will be already written in the questionnaire, so that the student will have only to choise the answear(s) which he/she will keep as right.

Time: 1' for each topic, maximum 30' for the minimum program, +10' for each choised book.

You can get the exam if you'll gain 18 right answears in the test for minimum program, and +6 right answears for each chosen book (enlarged program)– for each positive proof in your chosen books, you'll have 3 points to add at your score.

 

2 important info.s about  your examination:

 

a)                           in order to be admitted to the exam: You had to be present at minimum to the 70% of the lessons. Presences under this minimum may be integrated by studying a book more than the minimum program (a forth book, chosen between the listed ones). No presence at all don't allow to gain the Uec.s, so that the student cannot be admit to the exam

 

In order to be registered to the roll-call:  You had to insert your name in the electronic list for the exam within the 5th day before the fixed date (you can have access to the e-list in the UniWex website, at the url: https://uniwex.unibo.it/uniwex/index.do ).
