Learning outcomes
The course aims to give students a basic knowledge to:
- identify the main neurological diseases presenting with different symptoms by accurate history-taking and clinical reasoning
- differentiate abnormal nervous system signs to suggest a diagnosis and
possibly indicate the anatomical site of the lesion
- indicate the appropriate diagnostic tests to confirm the diagnostic suspicion and assess their reliability and invasiveness
- know the main pharmacological treatments administered in neurological
diseases
