Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will know the general themes and the particular aspects of the history of literature in an exhaustive way. He will be able to understand and translate Spanish texts, he will gain the theoretical and fundamental knowledge in order to be able to face the critical interpretation of their contents and he will be able to explain texts according to methodologies typical of the analysis of literary texts.

Course contents

Aspects of the Spanish culture of the XVIII and XIX century, with particular focus on the comic and dramatic theatre.
