Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will know the theoretical concepts of computer science, the principles of the illustred software applications and the technical lexicon of the discipline.
Course contents
The course is oriented to the new information technologies:
treatment of electronic documents, Internet and WWW, planning and
creation of multimedia objects, creation of Web pages.
The presence to the introductive lessons is recommended. Then
the study will procede individually under the A3 platform (a Web
site with training aids).

The training materials are on the A3 platform. Eventually is
available also a book: Fondamenti di Informatica
(Zanichelli 2007), 2 volumes.

Teaching methods
The method is based on the training possibilities throughout a Web platform, specifically ideated for learning the bases of computer science.
Assessment methods
A test in multiple answers will be erogated. The date of the test will be indicated on the A3 platform, module "Il Sistema A3". The registration is compulsory.
Teaching tools
The course will be erogated in a blended-learning way:
lessons in presence (room) and the rest managed individually under
the A3 platform. A tutor will help students in learning process.
Chat and forum, on the platform, could be used for discussing collectively on difficulties. The tutor will reply to the questions on the forum.
