Francesca Tomasi is professor in Archival and Library Sciences at the University of Bologna. Her research is devoted to Digital Humanities, with a special attention to knowledge organization theories, models and technologies.
She is founder and coordinator of the PHD programme CHeDE and head of the research centre DH.arc. She has been president of the italian association in Digital Humanities AIUCD, founder and coordinator of the international second cycle degree DHDK.
