Learning outcomes

Students will get the main medico-legal elements concerning with genetic tests and predictive medicine. In particular, will be deepened themes circa informed consent, genetic data agreement, possible reflexs about insurance and work area, right to know.
The aim is to integrate technical notions with juridical ones in order to place the problem into the public health policy.

Course contents

The case of a couple who wants a baby perfectly healthy.
The case of a person who wants to know if has inherited Huntington's syndrome.
The case of a person who have to be subjected to a medical treatment.
The case of a person who have to cooperate with legal authority.
