Learning outcomes

The course will give an introduction to projective geometry via the study of the projective group and the geometry of linear subspaces and second order subvarieties (quadrics)

Course contents

Projective spaces. The projective group. Projective duality. Complements on bilinear forms and normal form of a linear map. Quadrics, projective and affine classification. Cubic curves and the group law.
