Art-House Cinemas: Odeon Multiplex, Cinema Europa, Cinema Rialto Studio, Cinema Roma d’essai
Seac Film S.r.l and Circuito Cinema Bologna S.r.l., the companies that manage the art-house cinemas in the area of the University of Bologna, offers students a € 3.00 discount on the full price of a ticket for every Odeon Multiplex, Cinema Europa, Cinema Rialto Studio, Cinema Roma d’essai screening, from Mondays to Fridays.
To be entitled to the discount, students must show a document that proves their enrolment as students at the University of Bologna.
"Pre-Visioni di Intelligenza Artificiale" (Pre-Visions of Artificial Intelligence) film festival
From February to May, the “Pre-Visioni di Intelligenza Artificiale” (Pre-Visions of Artificial Intelligence) film festival, organised by Alma Mater's Alma Human AI Centre, will offer important moments of reflection before each film to discover how much of the technology described in science fiction films is still fantasy and how much is already reality. After each film, viewers will also be able to create a film using an artificial intelligence platform.
The film festival is held at the Nuovo Cinema Modernissimo (Via Rizzoli 1/2, Bologna). The ticket costs €3.50 for Alma Mater students when showing their university badge. The Alma Human AI Centre is offering the first 150 tickets free to Unibo students.

"Il Nastro Verde" film festival
The film festival is held at the Nuovo Cinema Modernissimo (Via Rizzoli 1/2, Bologna) from 4 to 29 April 2024.
The ticket costs €3.50 for Alma Mater students when showing their university badge. The first 150 tickets are free for Unibo students.

For the "Macbeth, A che punto è la notte?" performance on 5 April at 8:30 PM at the Auditorium Manzoni, as part of the "In Controluce" series, Paths of Opera between Art and History, free access is provided for students who will attend the opera Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi, on stage at the Comunale Nouveau from 12 to 18 April. The discounted rate for attending the Opera is €10.

Theatres Arena del Sole and Moline - Season 2023/24
Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione provides reductions on the ticket prices of the performances of the 2023/24 Theatre Season of the theatres Arena del Sole and Moline, reserved to students enrolled at the University of Bologna (valid for the performances for which reductions are provided).
Students may take advantage of the reduction upon presentation of a document certifying that they are a student of the University of Bologna. Each student is entitled to purchase one ticket per performance at a reduced price.
Arena del Sole Theatres - VIE Festival
Students enrolled in the University of Bologna are entitled to a reduction on the price of a ticket for the VIE Festival performances.
To avail of the reduction, students must show a document that proves their enrolment as students at the University of Bologna.
Each student is entitled to one reduced-price theatre ticket per performance.
Teatro Auditorium Manzoni - Musica Insieme
For the 2023/24 Season of Musica Insieme, all students up to the age of 25 can purchase special reduced tickets for € 10. Tickets will be available on concert days at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni.
