  • in-depth study of the demographic dynamics of population ageing, examining factors such as longevity, fertility, family life and migration
  • developing prototypes for monitoring the ageing of the population, useful for guiding future policies and making demographic projections in terms of households, labour force participation and care needs
  • conducting biomedical research to identify biomarkers of ageing, contributing to the understanding of frailty and age-related diseases

What activities are in progress?

  • on the care front, technological solutions are being developed to support caregivers: a platform is being developed to monitor the well-being of caregivers and provide training on how to improve care for the elderly

  • in terms of demographic research, the analysis of ageing trends will be continued Find out more
