A sprayable biodegradable formulation of biocontrol microorganisms imbedded in a bioplastic for delivering bioactive compounds to soil, crops and seeds. Applications include bioplastic dispersion formulations that:
- Significantly reduces damages caused by the European Corn Borer in corn and the Tarnished Plant Bug in cotton
- Results in a 97% reduction of aflatoxin contamination of corn
- Results in a high mortality rate of European Corn Borer larvae
- Protects seeds from soil-borne pathogens, thereby reducing damping-off in tomato plants
