University professors and staff members will be online answering students' questions, presenting over 200 degree programmes of the University of Bologna, providing information on access methods, TOLCs, international opportunities, services and financial aids to study at the University of Bologna.

Alma Orienta, the students' fair that the University of Bologna organises every year, will take place online on  14 and 15 May. After taking online its teaching activities, exam and graduation sessions, the Alma Mater now invites prospective students, undergraduates and graduates to participate in Alma Orienta online.

As it would have happened on the two days in February at Bologna Fiere, called off because of the coronavirus, students will be able to connect from their devices and see professors giving presentations on access methods to degree programmes. Moreover, students will also be able to take part in the discussion asking questions and making remarks, to virtually go around the stalls of First and Second Cycle Degree Programmes, to chat with University staff members and to find out about all the services and financial aids to study at University of Bologna.

Despite the distance, this will be an important moment for sharing and discussion. Students will learn about the 2020/2021 programme catalogue in Bologna and the campuses in Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna and Rimini, including 230 degree programmes of which 93 first cycle degree programmes, 123 second cycle degree programmes, 3 international second cycle degree programmes and 14 single cycle degree programmes. The University educational offer will be even wider as from next academic year 83 new international programmes will be added to the current programme catalogue.

Professors, tutors and staff members of the University will make themselves available to offer a comprehensive overview of the services, opportunities and financial aids as well as of the educational offer of the Alma Mater, not only in Bologna but in every university campus, and the Collegio Superiore (the centre of excellence at the University of Bologna).

Soon students will receive technical instructions for participating in the online event and information on how to access the interactive virtual rooms and on the programme of the event.
