Dear students,
As I am sure you are aware, tonight at a press conference, the Prime Minister announced the contents of a new Prime Ministerial Decree that is expected to be published in the evening and enter into effect tomorrow morning.

On the basis of this content, the provisions that applied today to the Lombardy region and some provinces are extended until 3 April to the whole of Italy.

I confirm that teaching activities, exams and graduation sessions  will continue to be delivered online as planned.

As of tomorrow (10 March 2020), in addition to museums and libraries, all the University's premises will be closed, as well as the study rooms and other locations that may have been used so far by students.

The secretariats and other services to the public will guarantee their work in remote mode, as per specific instructions that will be published on the University's sites.

I urge everyone to maintain an approach of utmost responsibility and scrupulous compliance with the provisions that the new DPCM will contain.

We will come out of this difficult moment and we will do so thanks to the commitment of us all.
My warmest greetings,

Francesco Ubertini
