3 August - Interruption of online services

An important update of the network infrastructure of the University's main server farm is scheduled for Tuesday 3 August between 8:00 and 12:00, which will result in the interruption of many of the services provided.

Most University applications such as Studenti Online, AlmaEsami, EOL – Esami OnLine, and Virtuale, will not be available.

University websites, such as the main portal, degree programme websites, and department websites may be inaccessible while work is carried out.

Also the virtual telephone service will be unavailable, therefore University offices may not be contactable via telephone.

Additionally, internet browsing will not be possible from workstations connected to the University’s network (including via AlmaWifi).

The following services will remain available:

  • The web e-mail service. Problems may occur in accessing via client (eg. Outlook, Thunderbird) or app

  • Office 365 services, such as Teams and OneDrive.

We will do our best to reduce the duration of the activities.
