Following the ordinance issued this evening by the Municipality of Bologna, which precautionarily closes schools, parks, and sports centers and invites everyone to limit travel and encourage smart working, we believe it is appropriate to adopt the following measures for tomorrow, October 25:
- Teaching will be conducted only online at all locations in Bologna and Romagna.
- Laboratory and internship activities are suspended and will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
- Exams and language proficiency tests are suspended and will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
- Thesis discussions and proclamationsT will take place in person where possible; however, graduates and commissioners unable to reach the graduation venue may request to attend online by contacting the commission president.
The virtual classroom for online teaching will be accessible from the “teaching” page of the faculty website.
The university buildings, including libraries and study rooms, will remain open. For any localized issues, specific communication will be provided on the websites.
For T/A/B/CEL staff, remote working will be allowed without prior authorization from the supervisor in cases where it is impossible to reach the workplace or travel due to family reasons. Those providing essential and non-deferrable services must inform their supervisor to manage any potential disruptions as early as possible.
Unless further communication is provided, all activities will resume in person on Monday, October 28.
