The University of Bologna is conducting a survey on the mobility and spending habits of its student community. The aim is to better understand the needs of those who study and live on the University's campuses to improve hospitality and services, particularly those related to travel.
This is why GRIN-UP was created, a free app for iOS and Android that allows you to participate in this research in a simple and interactive way.
Who can participate?
Students enrolled in a bachelor's degree, single-cycle master's degree, master's degree or PhD programme at the University of Bologna.
How to participate
Take part in the GRINS challenge from 13 October to 14 December 2025
- Download the GRIN-UP app from Google Play Store or App Store
- Answer a short initial questionnaire
- Take part in timed challenges (all optional) and score points
- If you wish, you can also activate location tracking to help us understand the most frequent routes.
You are free to decide if and when to participate or leave the challenge at any time.
Prizes
Those who achieve the highest scores will win:
- 5 Almabike bicycles
- 50 University of Bologna insulated water bottles
