Full Professor at the University of Bologna since 2020, she conducts research in special education, inclusive learning environments, giftedness, and productive engagement in the life paths of individuals with complex employability. She graduated with honours in Pedagogy and earned a PhD in Experimental Pedagogy. She holds teaching qualifications for lower and upper secondary school and a specialisation in support teaching. She teaches and has taught in university courses, Master’s programmes, TFA, PAS, and PhD programmes. She has coordinated and participated in national and international projects on school and work inclusion. She is Director of the Specialisation Course for Support Teaching (10th cycle) and coordinator of the training pathway for teachers with three years of experience in support education, as provided by D.L. 75/2025. Scientific director of CeDEI, she collaborates with international universities. She sits on editorial boards of specialist journals and was editor of the series
Matematica & Difficoltà. Founding member of SIPeS, she promotes inclusive and transformative pedagogical practices.
