- public, private and third-sector institutions and agencies (including foundations) which appreciate, conserve and promote the artistic, literary and linguistic heritage and organise cultural events and activities.
Writer
Functions:
- various types of activities in the sector of publishing;
- writing professionally in the journalistic, editorial and advertising fields;
Career opportunities:
- publishing, advertising and professional/journalistic writing companies, also on-line/web publishing.
Lexicographer
Functions:
- coordinating projects and activities in the relevant sector;
- cooperating in compiling dictionaries and works with particular vocabulary contents in general, conducting technical investigations and research and compiling headwords and entries;
- operating in the sector of IT-linguistic activities, in particular regarding the processing of empirical data.
Career opportunities:
- as an employee or freelance/consultant in public, private and third-sector companies producing dictionaries and electronic resources;
- companies specialised in the automatic processing of languages.
