Learning outcomes

The aim of this course consists in providing concepts and microeconomic tools needed for the analysis of behaviour and markets within the "third sector". The course will allow participants to: gain a proper terminology;, handle simple models, find out and organize data; examine relevant case-studies.

For studens lacking economic background, a preliminary reading is the volume by L. Becchetti, L. Bruni e S. Zamagni, Microeconomia, Il Mulino, 2010 (chapters. 2-6, 10, 11). The textbook of the course is F. Amati, S. D'Acunto e M. Musella, Economia politica del Terzo settore, Giappichelli, 2021 (except chapter 5).

Assessment methods

The exam is written in presence. The grade is scaled as follows:

0-17: failed

18-23: sufficient

24-27: good

28-30: very good

30 e lode: excellent
