Learning outcomes
At the end of the module, the student will be able to apply knowledge and understanding of the historical and legislative events that have shaped the cultural and professional evolution of the midwifery role. Particular attention is given to the shift from a practical-empirical, women-centered approach to a structured and organized form of care based on scientific knowledge.
