Learning outcomes
At the end of the Seminar the student will have acquired specific skills relating to the field of design cultures, with a particular focus on the communication and representation of fashion products.
Course contents
The course aims to teach participants a creative process finalized at the production process.
The first theoretical lessons will introduce the basics of pattern making and tailoring and industrial sewing.
Subsequent lessons will put what they have learned into practice, and students will be able to create a prototype starting from an idea developed on a mood board.

Teaching methods
The lessons will alternate between traditional/frontal and technical/practical on the machines.
Assessment methods
The exam will consist of an analysis of the final project and the coursework undertaken in class.
The student will be required to explain the entire creative and production process of the submitted work.

During the lessons, handouts relating to the theoretical and practical lessons will be produced.
