Assessment methods

The examination is conducted orally and consists of one or more questions pertaining to the course syllabus.

The assessment typically begins with the presentation of two clinical cases, aimed at evaluating the student’s ability to apply theoretical knowledge and to establish the necessary logical and deductive connections in order to reach an appropriate diagnostic framework.

The number of questions or clinical cases may vary depending on the level of preparation and the depth of understanding demonstrated by the student in their responses.

Final grade grading:

→ 18–19: Demonstrates knowledge of a very limited number of topics addressed during the course and the ability to manage the clinical case only with substantial guidance from the examiner; overall appropriate language use.

→ 20–24: Demonstrates knowledge of a limited number of course topics and a partial ability to apply logical-deductive reasoning to clinical case management; appropriate and correct language use.

→ 25–29: Demonstrates broad knowledge of the course topics, sound logical-deductive reasoning, independent critical thinking, and proficient use of subject-specific terminology.

→ 30–30 with honors: Demonstrates comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the course content, ability to independently formulate critical analyses and connections, excellent command of subject-specific terminology, and well-developed argumentative and self-reflective skills.
