93486 - Iconography and Iconology Workshop (A)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the laboratory, the student: is able to apply the knowledge and methods covered in the integrated course within a simulated learning environment; is able to reflect critically, in group settings, on the topics addressed during the workshop.

Course contents

The laboratory will explore the relationship between schools and museums in the design and implementation of educational activities within cultural heritage and local contexts, aimed at children attending pre-primary and primary schools.
Starting from the presentation of national and international case studies and best practices, students will be guided in designing educational pathways that bring children closer to art and cultural heritage through a participatory and inclusive approach.

According to the regulations, students who are unable to attend the first session are required to withdraw their registration (before the list closes) in order to: i) allow other students to take their place; ii) have the opportunity to register for another workshop (simultaneous registration in more than one workshop is not permitted).

Enrollment is allowed in only one workshop, with compulsory attendance. Absences are not permitted for workshops lasting 8 hours (1 CFU).

Assessment methods

The laboratory is integrated with the Iconography and Iconology course within the Primary Teacher Education program and involves the creation of an individual project to be presented and submitted to the instructor.

The assessment of the laboratory includes four possible outcomes: FAILED (laboratory to be repeated); SUFFICIENT (-1); GOOD (0); EXCELLENT (+1), in relation to the grade obtained in the written exam.

The laboratory grade will be integrated into the final score of the Iconography and Iconology course.

Please note that attendance at the laboratory is a prerequisite for taking the Iconography and Iconology exam.
